Here at Raag Rang, we believe in connecting hearts with music. Music is universal. It is everywhere. No matter where one is from, music is the way for the soul. It heals, nourishes, protects, enriches, and soothes the hearts of everyone it touches. Raag Rang aims to help people create a deeper bond with themselves as well as with everyone around them. Moreover, the brain cells also respond to music quickly. We intend to recognise and appreciate the unearthed talent present in our young performers. Enabling the students to step out of their comfort zone and providing them with a platform to reach their highest potential. Exclusive genre/concept- based workshops; open mic exposure in Solan, Chandigarh, Shimla; exclusive musical evenings with local artists; musical plays; acapella; music production; songwriting sessions; music controversies; are just some of the things we have planned for our club members for them to learn, and appreciate music more and grow as an artist.

Shoolini Creative Studio is a performance arts and theatre ensemble of Shoolini University, Himachal Pradesh. It was established on 1st of March2020 with an intention to build a cultural community of visionaries, actors, film makers, artists, musicians, dancers, poets, architects, and designers in Shoolini University. Shoolini Creative Studio organizes mega theatre productions, musicals, lecture demonstrations, studio work, body, and voice training to enhance the creativity and expression of the students so they can learn articulation and reflection.
Drishyam Photography Club is a platform that helps the Photograph enthusiasts to enhance their skills in the field of capturing this world. Anyone can be member of this club but the individual should be passionate about their work. The aim of the club is to make the members more creative about their skills on capturing the moments and all the various fields of photography. As a member of this club has not only taught me how to be a professional but also has enhanced my skills in my respective field. The use of the camera and it’s tool helps capturing different scenes on an entirely different level. It helps to make confident, informed decisions regarding composition, exposure and print quality, using both analog and digital technology. The theme of the club is changed every two week. Regular core team meetings are held and the themes, upcoming events, projects are discussed. Also the club organizes different coompetitions for everyone in collaboration with the other clubs in the university. The winners are chosen and are also awarded with participation certificates and amazing surprizes.
Satrangi Strokes is the artistic face of Shoolini. The club aims at igniting the flames of artistry and encouraging young minds to lead life with an imaginative approach. The students associated with the club would earn an opportunity to polish their imaginative, creative and innovational skills along with experiencing how to manage events taking place on campus. It’s a brilliant platform for aspiring artists and designers to boost their overall growth. Our primary objective includes motivating the students to take charge of the events & showcase their expertise by painting, designing, maintaining vibrancy of the campus & above all planning and executing fests or events. This club represents the love for food by all the foodie people out there and it is basically the common ground for sharing the taste of marvellous things that we eat in our daily lives which makes us feel more soulful plus food is combination of felicity and sensuality.
Loudspeaker’s is a club which teaches its members communication, public speaking, anchoring and builds their self-confidence through enhancing public speaking skills. It is one the largest and most successful club of its type in Shoolini University. Loudspeaker’s was founded in 2021 and now has hosted more than 100 events in almost all the places of university such as OAT (Open Air Theatre), RTH (Ratan Tata Hall) PDH (Peter Ducker Hall) APJ Hall (APJ Abdul Kalam Hall) Cineplex and Pine Court. Since Loudspeaker’s Club is responsible for the hosting of events in the University, before any event the auditions are conducted for the purpose of selecting the Hosts/Anchors for a specific event/show. On an average the university conducts 3-4 events every month, there is a keen possibility of getting chance to every club member. Unlike before the club will now focus on quality more than quantity to get best and active members for the Loudspeaker’s with a scrutiny in selection process.
Shoolini Voice Master Club is an amazing and growing club. This club is more than just attending meetings, but also learning and gaining skills at the same time. It follows some protocols and works along the similar lines of ‘The Toastmaster Club’, which is an international club for public speaking. It conducts formal meetings twice a month so that the members of this club can know the flow of the meetings and participate as well. The flow of the meeting is as per mention below: First, Prepared speeches (5 to 6 min each) Second, Extempore session (1 to 2 min each) Third, Evaluation Section – Every participant is evaluated on different criteria. The club to develop self- confidence, leadership skills and personal growth in its members. It specifically focuses on the communicative skills of the students. It prepares students for future meetings, interviews and more specifically for the public speaking phobia they all have.
Chatterbox Club of Shoolini University is about creating a fun environment for learning basics radio. This club is a project of Radio Shoolini, a campus radio station run by the School of Journalism. We welcome any student, regardless of department, who is interested in learning about radio jockeying, radio carriers, and radio-related topics. We are collaborating with the University and the journalism batch to enhance your educational experience. Our goal is to get Shoolini students, staff, and faculty interested in radio listening. Chatterbox is welcoming and active club, with shows airing every week exclusively on Radio Shoolini, which is accessible via the MyShoolini App.
Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) Shoolini is part of Ministry of Education's (MoE) initiative to promote innovation, startup and entrepreneurship culture. Completely student-driven, IIC Shoolini engages in promoting and working in the following domains under the supervision of their respective coordinator pairs. Teams included are Start Up Team, Innovation Team, Intellectual Property Rights Team, Internship Team and Social Media Team.
SANCHAY aims to focus on heightening the applications and the impact of not just Mathematics but also other interdisciplinary fields of STEM. It attempts to do so by breaking the conventions of a typical classroom topics and expand the horizon of knowledge by questioning the paradoxes. We encourage the club members to brainstorm and build networks such as to come up with out-of-the-box ideas. Celebrating Mathematics by means of acknowledging the work done by our Indian Mathematicians and is SANCHAY’S primary focus. Its objective is to impart the knowledge of STEM considering the recent advancements.
Bodh - Shoolini University’s Quizzing Club is a student-run club dedicated to quizzing. One of its kind, Bodh derives its name from the Upanishads & Sanskrit texts where the term ‘bodh’ signifies wisdom and knowledge. The motto of this club is to harvest the inbuilt qualities such as quest for knowledge and to ignite one’s inquisitiveness for things happening around.
Club aims to bring in a rigorous culture of quizzing to not just Shoolini, but its 1000+ partner educational institutions. Bodh is the knowledge partner for Q?riosity - one of India’s largest quizzes for school students. With student experts from a variety of fields such as History, Politics, Culture, Art and Technology, Bodh aims to enable students to enjoy quizzing and bring laurels to their institution. The club also conducts several Quiz Training Programs. Bodh is delighted to be the quiz partner for QUEST 2022: India’s largest quiz for school educators. Shoolini Ventures aspires to be one of India’s first student-run startup accelerators. We are a
group of young and crazy entrepreneurs, innovators, hustlers, leaders, changemakers, and
start up enthusiasts with the aim to bolster entrepreneurship in Shoolini University and the
Himachal Pradesh community. We aspire to build an inclusive community for entrepreneurs
through this initiative. We are excited by people who are interested in startups,
entrepreneurship, and venture capital even if they don’t understand the length and breadth of
the Indian and global entrepreneurial ecosystem. We welcome everyone with passion,
dedication, grit, and a bit of a crazy streak to make things happen.
We aim to empower local founders with a global vision to create their identity and help them
realize the potential of their ventures. We look for passionate, visionary, and bold founders
with ventures that solve real-life problems with a sense of social responsibility and lots of
purpose to our accelerator program.
Those who are excited by startups and don’t exactly know from where to start? Don’t worry,
we got you covered! We intend to run a variety of programs under our education and
outreach and division like weekly masterclasses with experts on subjects like how to write a
startup pitch deck, IPR and technology transfer sessions, how to find the right co-founders,
how to assess the feasibility of your startup ideas, and many other topics.
We also aim to organize business model canvases, pitching events, and other such events to
provide our community with real-life startup related exposure.

The Astrobiology Club of Shoolini University aims to be the one-stop solution for students trying to understand life through a cosmic perspective. It is one of Asia’s first Astrobiology Clubs. Through our collaboration with Spaceonova, students will be provided mentorship and research guidance by experts in the field. You would learn about early career opportunities like conferences, internships, competitions, and much more. You would be able to start working on your own project, publish posters and papers. You would learn to apply your field of expertise in Astrobiology. You will meet new people interested in the same domain of science. We believe the Astrobiology Club at Shoolini University will prove to be a fruitful addition to every student’s college experience. They will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to pursue a career in Astrobiology, whether it be in an academic or industrial setting. Our main goal is to inspire and encourage students to learn more about the new and exciting field of Astrobiology. But, most of all we aspire to create an inclusive and encouraging community for Astrobiology Enthusiasts.

aiming to create a thriving community of biotechnology, biosciences, and biomedical
enthusiasts where knowledge is shared across all levels and like the field of biology itself,
we continue to grow and evolve.
‘Genomage: The Biosciences Society of Shoolini University’ believes that the biotechnology
sector in India is at the dawn of entering a new era of growth which forays into critical
industries like pharmaceuticals, medicine, agriculture, environment, information technology,
services, biosimilars, and many more. India’s working population is in an advantageous
position. That is so because the country has a young workforce. This workforce has got
massive potential and could contribute to the national economy in the coming decades.
We aspire to create an inclusive environment for students aiming to make careers in
academia or industry in biotechnology, biosciences, and biomedical sciences by conducting
bi-monthly journal club sessions, symposia, research-based idea building competitions,
biotech entrepreneurship boot camps, mentorship, professional development sessions, and
peer learning summer/winter schools (where students teach students).
This club is all about removing myths, taboos related to menstruation around the society. We take this initiative to help, educate and to give knowledge about this topic to our female child, to our upcoming generation and also to our men’s.
RRC was established in Shoolini University to increase awareness on HIV/ AIDS in the youth. It also strives to engage the students in meaningful free flowing discussion around HIV and risk factors. It also encourages students to donate blood and celebrate days like Blood Donation Day, World ADS Day, International Day of the Youth etc.
Previously known as Shades of Love, PRISM (Preservation and Promotion of Rights, Identity, Gender and Sexuality through Manoeuvring and Motivating LGBTQIAP+ Youth) aspires to create a safe space for and to educate people about the LGBTQIAP+ community. The club aims to provide a comfort zone for students to freely talk about their struggles and experiences, and to help them accept and be open about who they are. The club also endeavours to revamp the work environment at Shoolini to allow students to be more comfortable with their identity and sexuality, and receive inclusion and support from peers and professors. From Support Group meetings to club discussions, PRISM is an open platform to raise, discuss and learn about issues surrounding the community. The club strives to provide mental, emotional and physical support to LGBTQIAP+ youth to the best of its abilities, as well as allow the members to continually learn more about the community and to grow as individuals. One doesn’t need to be a part of the LGBTQIAP+ community to be a part of the club. As long as you know about and support the community, as well as keep up with its issues and developments and want to work towards bringing about a positive change in society, you're all we need. We are all about acceptance, safe spaces, support and knowledge; we are PRISM, Shoolini.
Arcadia is a club formed by the students of the Department of Psychology at Shoolini, which aims at promoting emotional well-being as well as mental health and to educate people about various kinds of ailments prevailing. By doing so, we will not only be able to help the needy but also provide a platform to spread awareness about mental health.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxShooliniUniversity is a platform that hosts inclusive TEDx conferences at Shoolini University. Established in 2020, TEDxShooliniUniversity endeavors to unite the community of Shoolini University and Solan through the power of ideas, and spread them through the global TEDx forum. Our goal is to create an extraordinary forum of ideas to foster life-changing dialogues and to inspire action that brings real change in our community.
YCC endeavours to represent the youth community in the country from all fields of society under a single non-political and non-governmental umbrella to help all effectively communicate to the society, bring in leadership movement and help each other becoming good and responsible citizens of the country. Young Communicators Club Shoolini aims to empower students to network with the professionals, explore newer research and internship opportunities. It gives the students a wonderful opportunity to be recognized on larger social and professional platforms. It attempts to bridge the gap between the academic, corporate and the social worlds by working on nurturing talents, enhancing networking skills and grooming leaders for tomorrow. Our main objective is to work on communication skills – written and verbal to build confident individuals ready to face the world through webinars, seminars, skill development workshops and competitions. YCC Shoolini also has established a Blog Website – Panorama 361, (Home - Panorama361° (shooliniuniversity.com)) made by the students, for the students. Here students can write about anything and everything - information, news, entertainment, sports, science, poetry etc., anything that will add value to a reader's mind. There is something for everyone. This initiative will help students to voice their brilliant ideas which may otherwise go unheard.
Animal Lover’s Club is a non-profit student initiative club formed at Shoolini University, Solan which focuses on feeding, healthcare, adoption and overall welfare of stray animals in the proximity. The club was founded in 2021 and had over 95+ student volunteers with the goal to do something for these little paws who know how to love and nothing more!We have 5 departments namely - PR management, Digital Marketing, Logistics, Content writing and Dietary and Health Care. We are a bunch of students who wish to make this world a better place to live in for these pawsters! Our club revolves around the idea of spreading compassion and love in a world which has lost its zeal in such areas.

Riding a bicycle is not only about your own mental and physical health, it is also about the health of our planet. No petrol! No diesel! No harmful emissions! No carbon Dioxide! Less Noise! Hence cycling is the simplest and eco-friendly transportation. Our enthusiastic bicycle riders are frequently seen in the area around the Campus exploring the beautiful flora and fauna. Apart from the normal Weekly fun rides, some of the impactful rides recently were World Environment Day, World Bicycle Day and many others. Our team of cyclists rode for awareness on 5 th of June 2022 in Shimla. The ride was basically to advocate the cause of shunning single use plastic. On 3 rd of June 2022 on World Bicycle Day the Shoolini Peddals Club organized a 30kms ride starting from Solan to Shoolini University via Solan Kumarhatti road. The ride was organized to encourage public to use bicycle more often and whenever possible to meet environment sustainable development goals.
